Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Stephanie McMahon and Charlotte Flair.
• Stephanie McMahon has officially announced her new ESPN+ series, Stephanie’s Places, set to debut in March. The show, produced in partnership with Omaha Productions, ESPN, and WWE, will see McMahon traveling and interviewing WWE superstars and legends as part of the Peyton’s Places series.
Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, McMahon explained, “I’m going all over the country and hopefully the world to really find out the stories behind the biggest stars in WWE.”
When asked about the series’ goal, she said, “It’s really to tell the stories that haven’t been told. To find out more about the people behind the characters. What I want to do is bring some type of advice to the audience. These people are all hugely successful, but like most people, they’ve been knocked around a lot. How did they overcome the challenges that were put in front of them? How did they get over certain things to become who they are today? It’s really their journey.”
On her experience as host, McMahon admitted, “I’ve loved it. I was really nervous to do it. It was my first step back into the business and I was really worried about it. Ultimately, it’s been so rewarding. To get to hang out with our talent, that I know so well on a certain level, but to get to know them so much better and differently and to bring their stories out. With each person it’s different. In some cases, I’m the younger person who remembers them as a big star and in other cases I’m the older person and I’m trying to pull things out of a younger superstar. No one show is the same. It’s a lot of fun.”

According to WrestleVotes, Charlotte could soon become a champion once again:
“With Charlotte Flair set to return this weekend, a source says her presentation will fully embrace her Flair family legacy with a ‘Top Girl’ attitude and ‘flare’ to her character. There’s also talk of championship gold coming her way sooner rather than later.”
