CM Punk had his first televised singles match in WWE in over 10 years tonight at SummerSlam 2024.
However, he wasn’t victorious. After special guest referee Seth Rollins was accidentally knocked out, Drew McIntyre low-blowed Punk and hit a Claymore Kick for the win.
Punk reunited with Stephanie McMahon after the match. This wasn’t shown on camera. You can watch the fan footage of this below:

– Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) def. Rhea Ripley to retain the Title
Dominik Mysterio screwed Ripley by distracting the referee, so Liv could hit her finisher on Rhea on a steel chair.
– Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker def. Sami Zayn (c) to win the Title
– United States Championship Match: LA Knight def. Logan Paul (c) to win the Title
– WWE Women’s Championship Match: Nia Jax def. Bayley (c) to win the Title
Tiffany Stratton tried to cash-in her Women’s Money In The Bank contract during this match, but Bayley took her out. Nia took advantage of the distraction and picked up the win.
– Drew McIntyre def. CM Punk with Seth Rollins as the Special Guest Referee
– World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther def. Damian Priest (c) to win the Title
– Bloodline Rules Match For The Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) def. Solo Sikoa to retain the Title
Randy Orton and Kevin Owens took out Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa. Jacob Fatu attacked Cody, but got hurt later and couldn’t move. Roman Reigns returned and took out Solo with a Superman Punch & Spear.
