Stephanie McMahon’s New WWE Project Revealed

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Stephanie McMahon and Royal Rumble 2025.

• After leaving her executive role in WWE in January 2023, Stephanie McMahon has continued to make appearances at major WWE events, including WrestleMania 40 and the RAW Netflix premiere.

She was also present at WWE’s Town Hall on Wednesday, where it was announced that Triple H would be inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

According to PWInsider, WWE used the event to highlight a new project Stephanie has been working on. The project, described as similar to Peyton’s Places, will feature McMahon having in-depth conversations about WWE’s cultural impact with notable wrestling figures. She has already filmed segments with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and others.

There is no word yet on when or where the show will premiere.

• Omos’ journey in Pro Wrestling NOAH has been impressive, and his success there, including winning the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Titles alongside Jack Morris, has solidified his status as a global competitor.

After his latest match in the promotion, Omos relinquished the title and gave it to Daga under the Freebird Rule. The Nigerian Giant then announced his return to WWE:

“I’m going back to WWE so I’ll give this belt to Daga. Please increase the value of this belt. The champs are now Jack Morris & Daga. I don’t know when but I’ll come back.”

In an update, PWInsider is reporting that WWE is bringing in Omos for Royal Rumble 2025 and there have been discussions about him taking part in the 30-man match.

Fightful Select added that Omos impressed WWE officials with his willingness to go to Japan and work in NOAH.

Omos last competed in WWE in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown on April 5, 2024.
