• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran “Jumpin” Jim Brunzell celebrates his 70th birthday today.
Brunzell started in the AWA where he formed a tag team called ‘The High Flyers’ with the promoter’s son Greg Gagne.
Between 1985 and 1988, he teamed with B. Brian Blair as ‘The Killer Bees’ on WWF TV, before being used as a singles wrestler from 1988 till he left the World Wrestling Federation in 1993.
The Killer Bees are still considered one of the most underrated Tag Teams of all time.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM BRUNZELL!
• Steve Austin Takes Credit For The Rock Being The Biggest Movie Star In The World Today
During a recent interview with KFC Radio, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was asked who does he think sold his Stunner the best.
Austin went on to name The Rock and said the following:
“Yeah, [The Rock is my favorite sell of all time] because who would have figured, that guy, I hit him with that damn Stunner and half the time I’d have to watch out because he’d crash over me [Austin laughed].
And The Rock, I mean he’s always been like 275 [lbs], and when his legs or whatever careened off the ropes and hit you in the head, it’s like, ‘Goddamn, that hurts!’ And who would have thought then as he was flip-flopping around the ring for a Stunner that now, today as we speak, he’s the biggest movie star in the world.
You’re welcome, The Rock.”
