At MCW Spring Fever in Millersville, Maryland on Sunday night, The Hardy Boyz defeated Matt Taven & Mike Bennett.

Backstage at this event, Matt & Jeff Hardy reunited with fellow WWF Attitude Era Veteran “The Lethal Weapon” Steve Blackman.

Matt posted a photo of all 3 men and wrote the following:

“Myself & Jeff were so happy to run into Steve Blackman today. A legit cool & badass dude who rarely does public appearances nowadays.

As the charismatic JBL would say, it was OUTSTANDING!”

Blackman wrestled a few matches in the World Wrestling Federation in 1988 & 1989, where he defeated David Sammartino in his WWF debut match.

He was about to get signed to a full-time WWF contract, but he contracted malaria and dysentery, and was bedridden for 2 years.

Years later, Blackman made his way back to the WWF, during the famous Attitude Era. He wrestled in the company from 1997 to 2002.

During his time in Vince McMahon’s promotion, he held the Hardcore Title 6 times and holds the record for the most combined days as WWF Hardcore Champion: 172 days.
