Sting has been wrestling for over 3 decades and has made a name for himself in multiple pro wrestling companies.
He’s known as a WCW Legend, got a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame and also did some great things in his TNA career.
The Icon is now in AEW and has been paired up with Darby Allin since his debut at the Winter Is Coming edition of Dynamite in 2020.
Speaking to The Chase McCabe Show, AEW President Tony Khan expressed his excitement about having multiples top stars in AEW and also said that Sting is having his greatest run ever in pro wrestling in All Elite Wrestling right now.
“When you talk about some of the biggest names in pro wrestling, for me it starts and ends with Sting. He’s one of the all-time legends. He’s one of my all-time favorites.
Sting is still a huge part of AEW, and one of the greatest things we accomplished was bringing Sting out of retirement.
He is still wrestling to this day. He is undefeated in AEW, in fact, and he’s on the greatest run of his career right now in AEW.”
Sting will team up with Darby Allin to take on Swerve Strickland and AR Fox of The Mogul Embassy in a Coffin match at All In next Sunday at Wembley Stadium in front of over 80,000 fans.
