On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite (tap here for complete results), Sting reflected on his legendary 38-year career.
Sting said when he was forced to retire in 2015 it didn’t feel right, but this time he gets to go out his way. Sting announced that his last match will be at Revolution 2024.
While talking about his career, Sting mentioned some old school wrestlers, but highlighted 3 men who helped him a lot – Dusty Rhodes, Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair.
While the fans cheered Dusty & Ric, they booed Hogan. After hearing that reaction, Sting said:
“Okay. I hear you, I hear you. But Hulk Hogan transcended wrestling and I did learn something from the guy. So I gotta give something to him on that.”
