WWE recently teased the dream match between The Undertaker and WWE Hall of Famer Sting by tweeting the following:

WWE followed this up by posting a promo teaser for The Undertaker vs. Sting:

This began speculation that WWE might book this dream match at a Saudi Arabia PPV later this year, but that’s not the case.

This tease is a part of the “WWE Reimagined” project and they released their first video under this project titled “What if The Undertaker went to WCW?”

In this video, WWE wrestlers & legends talked about what would’ve happened if The Undertaker joined WCW in 1997.

WWE teased matches like The Undertaker vs. Hollywood Hogan, The Undertaker vs. Goldberg and The Undertaker vs. Sting.

WWE Hall of Famer Sting was featured in this video and he said there’s no way Undertaker would’ve defeated him in WCW (and that’s kind of true as Sting defeated Taker when they faced each other in a match in WCW in 1990).

As we noted earlier, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer noted that WWE officials don’t want Sting to return for a match and risk his life as he suffered a career-ending injury back in 2015.

However, one has to think – could this lead to some kind of a program between The Undertaker & Sting on WWE TV?

After all, we did get a rematch between Goldberg & Brock Lesnar after 12 years just because of a video game!
