• Sting’s 2015 WWE Match Was Cut Down From 12 Minutes To 2 Minutes

On the September 14th 2015 LIVE episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, WCW Legend Sting defeated The Big Show in just 1 minute and 45 seconds via disqualification.

This DQ finish set up a tag team match on the same show, that saw Sting & John Cena defeating The Big Show & Seth Rollins.

You can watch both these matches below:

While being interviewed on ‘Generation Iron Fitness Network’, The Big Show explained why their singles match was cut short, when the script originally had it scheduled to last 12 minutes, so 10 minutes longer than it eventually ended up lasting.

Here’s what the World’s Largest Athlete had to say about that night:

“I wrestled Sting in WWE. We were supposed to have a 12 minute match.

Something got screwed, I had to put Sting over in 2 minutes because he was going to WrestleMania (Night of Champions 2015).

It happened. I didn’t get anything (any offense), but it wasn’t my job.

My job at that time was to be a monster Sting needed to slay because he was going up in the company for something bigger.”
