• Stone Cold Reacts To Fans Comparing Becky Lynch To Him

During a recent interview on MMA on SiriusXM, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was asked about fans comparing “The Man” Becky Lynch to him.

Below is what Austin said:

“Well, I guess she is if everybody says she is because she does remind me a lot of myself. Because if you line up that women’s roster like I looked the men’s roster when I was still in the ring and you said, ‘Hey I want you to pick out your next break-out Superstar’, I don’t think you’re gonna pick Becky Lynch and I damn sure know you wouldn’t have picked me out of a line-up.

Nevertheless she has willed herself, she has worked her ass off and studied the game and she got a little bit hot and she got cooled off and then she got a little attitude behind her.

She got ticked off and said, ‘Hey man I’m gonna be a star.’ Vince McMahon wants everyone to be a star. He’s gonna set you up and give you opportunities. She made the most of those opportunities and when they tried to slam the door on her she kicked the door down and just burst right through it.

I love what she’s doing, I like what she’s done. I like her swagger and she is the hottest thing going right now.

She’s not a person whose dwelling on this being the most athletic match in the world. She’s a great worker in the ring, but it’s character driven — she’s The Man. I love the gimmick.

If you’re a chick or a young lady and you’re calling yourself The Man just like Ric Flair used to do, ‘To be the man you’ve got to beat the man.’ This is a whole different entity and the way Becky presents it.

Obviously, she’s a female, I think it’s an awesome gimmick and it’s money.”
