• Taz Explains Why Raw Star Is A Modern Day Ricky Steamboat
During a recent edition of “The Taz Show” podcast, ECW Legend Taz said that Raw wrestler Seth Rollins is like a modern day Ricky Steamboat. Here’s why:
“Rollins, everybody puts him over for how good of a workers he is. He looks great, talks good. He was awesome back in the day as Tyler Black. Gets it all done. But I think he’s underrated for one important thing. Is this guy like a modern-day Ricky Steamboat in regards to how good he sells? I mean this guy sold his knee just so good.
I’ll give you an example like a side-by-side comparison. Jason Jordan, a couple weeks ago he was selling his knee. Watch him sell it and then watch Rollins in this match here with Sheamus, how he sold him. Just a completely different level. It was awesome. Awesome job of selling. Really, really, really underratedly awesome the way this man sells.
That superplex spot was money and WWE did the right thing replaying it a whole bunch… The announcers did a good job covering it. The roll-through deal, then we saw another spot right there. While he was selling while he went for the other spot, there’s a superplex roll through. It was awesome. And I’ve seen Sheamus, he’s a big sumb*tch, give him credit for feeding his body in there the right way which is hard to do. He was a big part of that spot working like he did.”

• Stone Cold Says He Loves Former Raw Champion As A Heel
Former Raw Women’s Champion “The Boss” Sasha Banks was recently a guest of The Steve Austin Show podcast. Stone Cold talked about how “Legit Boss” is one of his favorite gimmicks in WWE today and that he absolutely loves Sasha as a heel:
“I love the ‘Legit Boss’ gimmick. It’s one of my favorite gimmicks going. She plays it to a T. She’s working babyface now. Quite frankly, I just love her as a heel because of that swagger that she has.
I love Sasha Banks ‘The Legit Boss’ as a heel because that’s when I feel she is on full-on persona, character, system.”
