• Stone Cold Steve Austin On What He & The Rock Said To Each Other After WrestleMania 19
Old School WWF Legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin recently gave an interview on the ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’, in which he spoke about his final professional wrestling match, which happened on March 30, 2003 in one of the co-main events of the WWE WrestleMania XIX pay-per-view.
Here’s what the 2009 WWE Hall of Famer had to say about the aftermath of his match with The Rock that night:
“After the three-count, after he pinned me, after 3 Rock Bottoms, he just said, ‘Man, I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me. I just want you to know I love you, man’.
I’m laying there, we got 70,000 people there, a couple of million people watching on pay-per-view.
I just kind of looked up at him, I think I had my eyes closed, I said, ‘I love you too’. Verbatim.”
