LA Knight is the most over up-and-coming superstar in WWE today. However, he has lost all of his big matches as of late.

He lost the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match and lost the United States Championship Invitational match this past Friday on SmackDown.

According to PWTorch, Knight has a reputation of rubbing people the wrong way backstage:

“Knight has a long-running reputation for rubbing people the wrong way behind the scenes and just being ‘bad at backstage politics’.

Those who know him well tend to like him and some of them have spoken up on his behalf when Knight gives a bad first impression.”

However, they also reported that Vince McMahon has grown to be a fan of LA Knight and a push is expected to begin after SummerSlam 2023.

Insider source BWE reported the following about the strategy behind LA’s big push:

“The department knows what LA Knight is capable of. But the strategy was always to go by the system and not just break it suddenly because a talent is abruptly over. That’s why patience is key.”

Since LA is still kind of portrayed as a heel, his upcoming feud could be against a babyface Sheamus, who has been calling out Knight on Twitter.

LA Knight wrestles professionally since 2003 and was best known for his 2015-2019 run with IMPACT Wrestling as Eli Drake, where he was a World Champion, before he joined WWE in February 2021.

A lot of experts see him as a future World Champion in WWE and possibly even the #1 babyface of the company at some point.
