SummerSlam 2018 (Live Coverage & Results) – Part 7

This is part 7 of our SummerSlam 2018 Live Coverage (part 6 here).

Up next is the United States Championship match. Jeff Hardy makes his way out first, followed by the United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

The match begins with both men mocking each other.

After back & forth action, Hardy hits a Swanton Bomb and goes for the cover, but Nakamura reaches the bottom rope.

Hardy now nails a Twist of Fate and is looking to hit the Swanton Bomb again. Nakamura moves to the apron and Jeff goes for the Swanton Bomb on the apron, Nakamura moves out of the way and Jeff takes a nasty bump on the hardest part of the ring!

Nakamura nails Jeff with the Kinshasa to get the win.

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) def. Jeff Hardy to retain the United States Championship

Randy Orton comes out after the match and goes towards the ring with the intention of hurting Hardy even more, but returns to the back without doing anything.

Up next is the co-main event of the evening – Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship.

This is being billed as the biggest match of Ronda’s WWE career.

Natalya makes her way out first. Out next is the RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Alexa mocks The Bella Twins who are seated ringside for this match.

“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey is out next with quite a makeup. The match begins and Alexa is running away from Ronda.

Ronda drops Alexa with a right hand. Alexa is now out of the ring as she’s afraid of Rousey.

Rousey has now turned her back on Alexa, sat down and closed her eyes. Alexa takes advantage and puts a chin lock.

Ronda then nails her version of the Samoan Drop and Alexa goes out of the ring again.

Ronda nails the body shots and the judo throw on Alexa. Ronda nails another crazy move on Alexa.

Alexa hasn’t done anything till now except hitting a knee to Ronda’s shoulder.

Ronda is hurting Alexa’s wrist and locks in the Armbar and Alexa taps out!
