Roman Reigns Vs Jey Uso 7 SummerSlam 2023 WWE PPV WrestleFeed App

This is part 8 of our WWE SummerSlam 2023 live coverage (part 7 is here).

Up next is the main event of the evening and it is a Tribal Combat match for both the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the Tribal Chief spot.

“Main Event” Jey Uso makes his way out first. This is his first ever SummerSlam main event match. He has held the Tag Team Title 8 times, including the longest Tag Team Title reign in company history, but he has never held a singles title.

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns comes out next. He has been the champion for 1,070 days now. Reigns tells SummerSlam to acknowledge him and the fans did.

Roman shows Jey the Ula Fala and said he will personally give this to Jey if he wins tonight, not the referee or Paul Heyman, but he himself will crown Jey the new Tribal Chief.

Reigns introduces a Kendo Stick into the match and is assaulting Jey with it.

Roman goes for the Superman Punch, but Jey uses the Kendo Stick on Roman this time and begins assaulting the Head of the Table.

Reigns goes for a Spear, but Jey counters with a pinfall attempt. Jey then hits a Superkick and a Uso Splash! Jey goes for the cover, but Roman kicks out!

Jey is now assaulting Roman with a Steel Chair and Heyman is begging Jey to stop. Fans are chanting “one more time” and Jey tosses several steel chairs into the ring.

This plan backfired as Roman powerbombed Jey on top of the steel chairs. Roman went for the cover, but Jey kicked out.

Roman has set up a Table in the ring in one of the corners. A Table is set up on the outside as well. Both men went through the table on the outside as Jey hit Roman with a Samoan Drop through it from the ring apron.

Jey has now introduced a strap and whips Roman with it. Roman is bleeding from his left arm. Roman is trying to leave through the crowd. Jey is about to hit Roman with another Samoan Drop, but Solo Sikoa attacks Jey. Solo puts Jey through a Table with the Spinning Solo.

Solo is now dragging Jey to the ring and Roman is talking trash. In the ring, Solo delivered another Spinning Solo to Jey.

Roman and Solo go for their double team finishing move, but Jey pulled Solo and Roman accidentally Spears Sikoa!

Jey hits Roman with a Spear and goes for the cover, but Roman kicks out. Jey begins assaulting Solo and Roman with a Steel Chair. Jey’s son is shown cheering at ringside.

Solo superkicks Jey at the ringside area. Solo is angry at Roman for spearing him. They are arguing and in the meantime Jey spears Roman through the ringside barricade.

Sikoa begins beating up Jey and is clearing the announce table. Jey counters a Spinning Solo with a Superkick and he puts Solo through the announce table with a Splash.

Jey hits Roman with a Spear in the ring and hits the Uso Splash. Jey goes for the cover, but a man pulls Jey out of the ring and it is revealed to be Jimmy Uso!

Jimmy has turned heel on his brother. Michael Cole is questioning why did Jimmy do this? Fans are chanting “F**k you, Jimmy”.

Jimmy superkicks Jey and puts him in the ring. Roman is confused and then spears Jey through the Table in the corner in the ring. Roman pins Jey and it’s over.

Roman Reigns (c) def. Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and remain The Tribal Chief

Roman raised the Ula Fala after the match.
