However, Impact Wrestling’s TV partner in India, Sony SIX, noted that Impact Wrestling’s recent TV tapings in India might have a lot to do with Jinder’s big push.

It should be noted that when the plan for ITV’s World of Sport for the UK was revealed, WWE changed its business model for the UK market and planned to produce a weekly WWE UK show on the WWE Network.

However, when plans for ITV’s World of Sport got cancelled, WWE also cooled down on their UK project.

With this WWE-UK expansion story, it is quite possible that WWE wanted to take advantage and expand into the huge Indian market before Impact Wrestling does.
