3. WWE World Championship & Universal Championship Matches Not Taking Place At Survivor Series 2016?
It looks like the WWE World Heavyweight Title & Universal Title won’t be defended at next month’s Survivor Series 2016 PPV, which is a dual branded PPV (the big 4 PPVs will feature both Raw & SmackDown Live Superstars).
On last week’s Raw, Stephanie McMahon told Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho that she wants both of them on the same page as Raw will battle SmackDown Live at Survivor Series 2016 in three elimination tag team matches (men, women, tag team), thus hinting that both of them will be on Raw’s men’s singles tag team.
WWE’s website confirmed that both Owens & Jericho will be on Raw’s team at Survivor Series 2016:
Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon is counting on WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and his best pal, Chris Jericho, to anchor Team Raw against Team SmackDown LIVE at Survivor Series.
