AEW star Swerve Strickland has seemingly confirmed that AEW will soon be producing a show for FOX Network.

In a recent video by YouTuber Trevor ‘Queenzflip’ Robinson, Strickland mentioned how WWE SmackDown has moved from FOX to USA Network and claimed that AEW would be taking over the FOX slot.

“We about to get on Fox. Cause SmackDown’s leaving FOX.

And then we’re taking FOX. TNT, TBS, and FOX, we got all three of them.

Tony Khan lets me do whatever I want,” Strickland said during the encounter.

The potential new TV deal is expected to be significant, with reports suggesting AEW could earn around $170 million a year for producing two weekly shows for Warner Bros. Discovery platforms.

Unlike their current exclusive deal, AEW programming may now expand to other networks, with speculation about the launch of a new show, AEW: Shockwave, potentially airing on FOX.

Swerve Strickland, currently off TV after suffering two major losses, remains a key figure in AEW’s future plans.
