We are saddened to report that Old School WWF Legend Sycho Sid / Sid Justice / Sid Vicious has passed away at the age of 63.

His son Gunnar revealed on Facebook that Sid battled cancer for many years:

“In Memory of My Father, Sid Eudy

Dear friends and family,

I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.

We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support.

Sincerely, Gunnar Eudy”

Last month, Sid was interviewed on the Attitude Era Podcast, where he mentioned that WWE hasn’t inducted him into their Hall of Fame because Vince McMahon disliked him. However, he said they might induct him now because Vince is no longer a part of WWE.

Sid also noted that he’d like a have a role on WWE TV, like managing a wrestler and helping with promos.

Here’s what the WrestleMania 8 & 13 main eventer said:

“You’d think that they would offer [a Hall of Fame induction]. Again, Vince (McMahon) didn’t like me so much. I think that’s why they haven’t offered me that. But, with Vince being gone now, you’d think those people would say, ‘Hey, this guy, we still got him on contract. He is still making a little bit of money. It would help him if we did that,’ and it would help them as well.

You would think they might want to do everything they could to promote something like that. That might be something fun to start, too.

If you get back in, you might want to do something like a part-time deal, (be a) manager, or special – I think I was pretty good at interviews, too. There’s always a lot of people having a hard time with that. If I could teach them, maybe I could help them do their interviews.”
