Pretty Deadly’s run as a Tag Team has seemingly come to an end after five years together. The duo, consisting of Elton Prince and Kit Wilson, first signed with WWE in late 2019 and made their debut on NXT UK in early 2020. They quickly became one of the brand’s most entertaining acts, capturing the NXT UK Tag Team Titles before moving to NXT later, where they also held the NXT Tag Team Championship.

After their successful stint in developmental, Pretty Deadly were called up to the main roster as part of SmackDown in 2023.

Earlier this year, Elton Prince suffered an injury during a match against Fraxiom on episode of SmackDown. He was busted open after taking a Standing Shooting Star Press directly to the face and appeared dazed before tagging out. The match was stopped shortly after as medical staff checked on him.

During tonight’s episode of SmackDown, WWE confirmed the team’s split when Kit Wilson made his entrance with new music and solo titantron graphics. Corey Graves noted on commentary that their old “Yes Boy” catchphrase was “old stuff,” signaling the official end of Pretty Deadly as a team.

Wilson lost to Carmelo Hayes on the show.
