• Tay Conti Issues Statement On False Rumors Regarding Her

After former TNT Champion Sammy Guevara announced his break up on Twitter, AEW wrestler Tay Conti got heat from fans.

Fans believe Tay is the reason for Sammy’s break up, as there were rumors that Sammy & Tay are dating. The rumors got stronger when Tay announced that she’s no longer married.

They even addressed it during a video:

This backlash resulted in Tay deleting her Twitter account.

This led to Sammy issuing the following statement on Twitter:

“This shouldn’t have to be said…but my relationship with Pam ending had nothing to do with ANYONE else.

Pam and I broke up back in October and just now felt was the time to make it publicly known.

So please stop pointing fingers and looking for someone to blame.”

Conti posted the following statement regarding these rumors on her Instagram story:

“Hi Friends,

I had to take some time off social media because I was reading some unnecessary comments.

My personal life is no one’s business and no one has the right to create false rumors and harass me for something that wasn’t my fault.

When I look in the mirror, I’m happy to see who I am and I’m proud of myself. If you like my career, great you can stay but if you don’t, just leave. One thing is for sure: HATERS WILL NOT TAKE MY HAPPINESS AWAY.

I’m living my best life and bringing happiness to the people that enjoy my work. For those who shared love, I can’t THANK YOU enough…know that I do appreciate and love y’all, I’ll keep going no matter what.

Now let’s f**king go because I need to workout, period.

– Tay Conti”

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Veteran Mideon (Real name: Dennis Knight) celebrates his 53rd birthday today.

Between 1992 and 1994, he wrestled for Ted Turner’s WCW as Tex Slazenger and frequently teamed with Shanghai Pierce, a Tag Team that was later reunited in early 1996, when both wrestled on World Wrestling Federation TV, only this time Knight was billed as Phineas I. Godwinn (short P.I.G.), while his team partner had already joined the WWF a little over a year earlier as Henry O. Godwinn.

Together they wrestled as The Godwinns, first managed by WWF Legend Hillbilly Jim, but later after their Heel Turn managed by Uncle Cletus (a repackaged T.L. Hopper).

During the Attitude Era, Dennis Knight became known as Mideon, a member of The Undertaker’s evil ‘Ministry of Darkness’ stable.

Once the faction disbanded, Mideon’s career went downhill, and after a short stint as Naked Mideon, he was let go by the WWF in early 2001.
