• Ted DiBiase Jr. Explains What He’s Been Doing Since Leaving WWE In 2021 Interview

The son of the legendary “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Ted DiBiase Jr., is being charged with theft of millions of US dollars in federal funds as part of a Mississippi welfare fraud scandal.

The Ruthless Aggression Era veteran was charged with misappropriating government funds, that were intended for low-income people and families in need within the state of Mississippi.

If the former 2-time World Tag Team Champion gets convicted, he faces up to (maximum) 20 years in a federal prison for each wire fraud charge, plus a maximum of 10 years for each money laundering charge and a maximum of 5 years for each conspiracy charge.

Back in 2021, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, DiBiase Jr. was asked what he’s doing in his post-wrestling life.

Below is what Ted said:

“Yeah, I’ve got an insurance company we’re launching in September I’m excited about. I was doing a lot of speaking and personal, professional, and leadership development training leading up to COVID. So that hit.

Loved doing that but this is becoming more of a day-to-day. It’s really been fun because it’s got me reconnected with fans. I’ve been kind of off social media because you don’t want to get out there and promote a ton of stuff.

I spent a lot of time since I left wrestling trying to find what am I doing next, like who is Ted DiBiase? People ask my wife or anybody that knows me closely, ‘What’s Teddy doing these days?’ That’s a loaded question, man. There’s a lot of business development deals.

I’ve done a lot of biz dev, and consulting. Just really connecting dots for guys. Working with some incredible companies. Delos, a company out of New York City doing some great things.

We could be here for an hour talking about all the different kind of deals, the opportunities that really have been afforded to me because of my time at WWE.

I just learned how to capitalize on those. It took a minute and losing a lot.”

DiBiase was released from Jail on Friday afternoon. You can watch it below:
