• “That did not make him look like a boss” – Booker T Says Tony Khan Is Falling Into A Trap

AEW fans recently criticized the debut segment of Satnam Singh on Dynamite.

AEW President Tony Khan then appeared on Busted Open Radio and gave a lengthy explanation as to what went wrong and how he chose the wrong idea given by someone else, and that he personally could’ve booked it better.

On his Hall Of Fame podcast, 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T said Tony is falling into a trap by providing such explanations to the Internet wrestling audience.

Below is what the WCW Legend said:

“I totally looked at that as a move that did not make him look like a boss.

I’m going to say it like that because I don’t want to say anything negative or anything other than I don’t think we have to defend anything that we do on television to the internet fan base.

If Tony Khan feels like he made a mistake and he has to defend it by going on air and saying ‘Hey, guys, I made a mistake and I’m going to do it differently next time’, you’re just falling into a trap.

The fans, they do want to hijack the show. They do want to book it.

Do you remember when Cody Rhodes came out, and for fanfare purposes, he would take the belt off and give it to someone? One day, one fan threw it back.

From that day on, what happened? Every time Cody Rhodes gave his belt to someone, they would throw it back. People started jumping on the bandwagon. The fire started getting bigger and bigger.

Was it an internet connection? I don’t know. But I do know birds of a feather sometimes flock together, and that’s what we got going on right here. So I just want to get that out there.”
