• “That’s a match that needs to happen” – WWE Hall Of Famer
Speculation of a match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg during the WrestleMania season was sparked by Goldberg during this past Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump.
Regarding this match, the rumor mill is already on an overdrive, and it seems like Reigns and Goldberg will finally put an end to their rivalry in 2021, which was actually supposed to happen at WrestleMania earlier this year.
In an interview with Bleacher Report, Goldberg was once again asked about a possible match with The Tribal Chief.
Below is what he said:
“If the Roman Reigns match isn’t the match at the top of my priority list, then I wouldn’t be Goldberg. That’s a match that needs to happen. It’s a match that’s needed to happen for a very long period of time. I wish I would’ve been able to have that match 10 years ago. People in hell want ice water, too.
You can’t have everything the way you want it, but I think I can still be a very formidable opponent for him. Georgia will always be better than Georgia Tech at the end of the day, anyway.”
