• “The direction was very confusing” – Top WWE Star On Working Under Vince McMahon

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther recalled working under Vince McMahon in 2022, before McMahon announced his retirement from WWE.

Here’s what The Ring General had to say:

“It was a strange work experience, I would say (laughs). The direction was very confusing. It was hard to figure out what was expected of me, which, usually, there’s never an issue with that.

At the end of the day, everything came around for me. It was lucky off in my career in terms of timing. Right place at the right time, very often. And we’re all 100% a Hunter (Triple H) guy. That’s been my whole career in WWE. My directions came from Hunter.”

• Rhea Ripley Addresses Fan Criticism For Her WrestleMania 41 Match

Fans on social media have expressed their displeasure about the Women’s World Championship storyline heading into WrestleMania 41.

Many felt the match for the title should’ve been a singles match between Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair, but IYO SKY ended up winning the title from Rhea and now it’ll be a Triple Threat Match.

2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash isn’t a fan of this storyline either and called it “f**king horrible” on his podcast.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Rhea Ripley addressed the criticism for this storyline:

“The story is getting spicy. I know a lot of people online don’t want to realize what’s going on, because they hate me or whatever it is. People are going to feel whatever they want to feel. I’m not going to argue with 16-year-olds on the internet, but that’s the story.

And going into WrestleMania 41, I feel like, yes, I’m going to be focusing on Bianca, because she screwed me out of my opportunity twice now by being there and wanting to be a part of the spotlight and taking that away from me when she knows how much this opportunity meant to me.

Literally, three of the biggest female stars here in WWE are going to go to war. And it’s just going to mesh really, really well.”
