WWE Hall Of Famers The Dudley Boyz have signed Legends contracts with WWE, according to Sports Illustrated.

D-Von Dudley said the following about it:

“Before us, there were a lot of great teams, too. There was the Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, Terry’ Bam Bam’ Gordy and ‘Dr. Death’ Steve Williams, The Midnight Express, The Hart Foundation, The British Bulldogs, and The Road Warriors, who we idolized.

That was all a different era. During the ‘Attitude Era,’ we became, hands down, the greatest tag team of our era.”

Bubba Ray Dudley added:

“As long as there is breath in our lungs, we are still the greatest tag team on the planet today. No one else comes close.”

Bubba has been working with IMPACT Wrestling as Bully Ray lately, and is also a host on Busted Open Radio. D-Von worked under the role of a Producer for WWE for the past couple of years until being released in January earlier this year.

The legendary team is set to return to the ring tonight at IMPACT 1000 TV tapings (which will air on September 14).

The Dudley Boyz were last seen together in 2018, when they appeared on the 25th anniversary of RAW episode and then were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame a few months later, and then a final appearance at WrestleMania 34 as part of the Hall of Fame class.

Their last match as a tag team took place on December 17th 2016 at a House Of Glory Wrestling event.

Their last match as a tag team in WWE took place on the SummerSlam 2016 pre-show, where they lost to the team of Sami Zayn & Neville.
