3. Vader
After leaving Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in the fall of 1995, the former “Big Van Vader” was brought into the World Wrestling Federation as “Vader”, managed by Jim Cornette, where he became a Main Eventer, challenging “The Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 1996.
2. The Midnight Express
Arguably the role that Jim Cornette is most remembered for, happens to be him being the manager of the famous Midnight Express Tag Team in NWA Jim Crockett Promotions and Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling.
