• “The greatest thing I ever did” – WWF Legend On Punching Vince McMahon

Old School WWF Legend Bret Hart was recently interviewed on The Ringer, where he spoke about the infamous Montreal Screwjob that took place 25 years ago on November 9th 1997 at the Molson Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The incident is widely considered one of the most controversial happenings in professional wrestling history.

During the interview, Bret claimed that knocking Vince McMahon out afterwards in the locker room was the greatest thing he ever did.

Here’s what The Hitman said about punching the famous WWF promoter:

“I said, ‘I’m not in a friendly mood and this is not going to go well and you need to go right now.’ And he stayed. And I always think whatever happened that day defined me as a person.

And it was probably the greatest thing I ever did, in the sense that I stood up for myself like no other wrestler ever stood up for themselves.”
