Below are some top WWE news stories of the day.
• WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that despite moving to Netflix, Monday Night RAW will not shift to TV-14 or adopt Attitude Era-style edginess. During a WWE-Netflix media event, Khan dismissed rumors about R-rated content, reaffirming that WWE will remain family-friendly and advertiser-friendly.
However, the Wrestling Observer noted one likely change: less censorship of profane crowd chants.
While WWE won’t introduce explicit content, Netflix’s platform will reduce the need to bleep live audience reactions, a longstanding frustration for the company.
The overall programming will stay consistent with WWE’s current tone.

• WWE’s groundbreaking partnership with Netflix is poised to significantly expand the company’s global reach.
During a December 3 presentation at Netflix HQ, WWE executives Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Nick Khan discussed the deal, which will make Netflix the international streaming home for RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and premium live events starting in January 2025. Triple H highlighted the significance of this shift, calling it a “one-stop shop” for fans outside the U.S.
In the discussion, Triple H compared the current WWE era to the legendary Attitude Era, stating that today’s WWE has surpassed it in scale and impact.
When Michael Cole said the Attitude Era was “the biggest and most robust era,” Triple H replied:
“I don’t think that is accurate anymore. I think it’s right now; I was in the Attitude Era at the peak of it. We didn’t realize what it was in the moment. Having seen that, I see this, and I see it way bigger. This is a different moment of time in the business. At the end of it, it’s going to be called the Netflix Era because that’s where the big change is.”
Cole insisted on calling this era the “Triple H Era”.
