• The Rock and Triple H have on-screen issues once again, due to the main event picture at WrestleMania 40.
Rock told HHH to fix the Cody Rhodes situation at the WrestleMania press conference. The next night on SmackDown, HHH said he runs everything, not The Rock, and that Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship is official for WrestleMania XL.
To promote the WWE Rivals episode of his rivalry with Triple H, The Rock broke character and praised “The Game”.
Here’s what The People’s Champion tweeted:
“Hope everyone out there enjoys this tonight as much as we did paving the road over the years. There’s no business, like the pro wrestling business and I LOVE it. Boundless respect to my brother Triple H. Blood, sweat and ‘thanks for the house’. #WWERivals”
• It looked like Kevin Owens was gonna be involved in the United States Championship picture at WrestleMania 40, but that might not be the case.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has confirmed to them that Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton for the US Title and AJ Styles vs. LA Knight are planned for WrestleMania XL:
“Coming off the Chamber show, those at WWE have confirmed both bouts, AJ Styles vs. LA Knight and Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton. Both are right now listed for Mania.”
Seeds for both of these matches were planted during the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Styles interfered to screw Knight, but while Logan screwed Orton.
