WWE surprised fans with The Rock’s unexpected return at the end of the WWE Bad Blood 2024 Premium Live Event. Following this, rumors have surfaced regarding potential plans for The Rock at WrestleMania 41.

After Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in the main event, The Rock appeared without speaking, exchanging intense glances with both Rhodes and Reigns. This has sparked speculation about his future role in WWE.

The Rock has now posted the following on Instagram about his return:

“The show ain’t over, until the Final Boss says it’s over.

There’s no business like show business, and there’s no connection stronger and more electrifying than that of the people and the people’s champ.

You can FEEL the MANA.

FINAL BOSS. ENGAGED.

See ya down the road.”

In a Q&A session with WrestleVotes on Backstage Pass, it was revealed that WWE is considering a Triple Threat Match involving The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes for WrestleMania 41, which will take place in Las Vegas. Though not finalized, this idea is gaining traction backstage, with WrestleVotes noting:

“My thought is that it signifies that’s where we’re going for WrestleMania – 1, 2, 3 as in Triple Threat Match. I can tell you that’s on the table but I’m not sure if it’s finalized in any way.

It’s October, so I doubt it’s been finalized but the idea is being floated and I think it makes sense for the company as a whole just to get those three guys in one ring at one time and push the story to the moon.”

Additionally, recent footage after Bad Blood hinted at a potential alliance between The Rock and the new Bloodline. However, it remains to be seen whether The Rock will face off against Reigns and Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, as plans could evolve in the months ahead.
