• The Rock Open To A Match With Top WWE Star
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not only a very big name in Hollywood, but also in the pro wrestling world.
Whenever The Great One shows up in the WWE, he never fails to entertain the fans. His last appearance for the company was at SmackDown’s premiere on FOX in late 2019.
He recently came live on Instagram, where he was once again asked if he would like to face his cousin, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns, in a WWE ring.
Below is what The People’s Champ said:
“Rock vs Roman Reigns — is it possible? Sure, anything is possible. I’m always open and that’s the cool thing about professional wrestling is there’s an adaptability to pro wrestling and you never say never in pro wrestling and you never say never with Vince McMahon who has been one of my mentors in the business for a very long time and we’re very, very close friends and confidant. You never say no.
You know for something like that to happen I think the venue would have to be right. I think the business model has to be right [laughs]. I’m very close with Roman, we’re family, so we’ll see.”
You can hear The Rock’s comments below:
The Rock left wrestling full-time many years ago, leaving the fans with many dream matches they can only wish for. His last match was at WrestleMania 32, where he defeated Erick Rowan in a matter of seconds.
