• The Undertaker Could Be Done With WrestleMania
As we noted earlier, The Dirty Sheets is reporting that WWE officials are considering doing a final bout between old rivals Edge and John Cena at WrestleMania 36.
While WWE officials are discussing plans for Cena, Edge, Triple H, and even Hulk Hogan and Goldberg, there have been no discussions regarding using The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36 next year.
WWE previously considered doing The Undertaker vs. The Fiend for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36, but that plan was cancelled a few months ago (tap here to read more).
Undertaker wasn’t used at WrestleMania 35, and if part-time names like Cena, Edge, Triple H and Goldberg have matches or roles at WrestleMania 36, there’s a big chance that WWE might not use Taker at another WrestleMania and save him for future shows (mostly Saudi Arabia PPVs) due to enough star power already on the match-card.
There is speculation that 2020 could be the final year of The Undertaker in-ring career. If that turns out to be the case, then we might have already seen The Undertaker’s final WrestleMania match (against John Cena at WrestleMania 34 – which was a win for Taker and he took his WrestleMania record to 24-2).
