According to PWInsider, The Undertaker is expected to make his 1st Raw appearance of 2015 on next week’s episode.
There were rumors that The Undertaker might return this Sunday at Battleground 2015 but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.
The Undertaker is returning to start his SummerSlam angle, rumored to be with Brock Lesnar. Sting is also scheduled to return soon and will be appearing at SummerSlam. This would be Sting’s SummerSlam debut and Undertaker’s first SummerSlam in 5 years. Undertaker last appeared at SummerSlam in 2010 when he returned to WWE programming and confronted Kane & Rey Mysterio.
Dave Meltzer notes that WWE is planning to throw a huge SummerSlam 2015 weekend. Undertaker’s SummerSlam plans might begin at Battleground 2015 where he might return and possibly cost Brock Lesnar his title match against Seth Rollins. Sting is scheduled to return soon but there’s no information available regarding his SummerSlam 2015 plans.
It’s being reported that Sting was scheduled to return earlier but his opponent was injured at that time. Sting is expected to wrestle his second WWE match at SummerSlam 2015. His first WWE match was against Triple H at WrestleMania 31, which he lost.
It should be noted that Vince McMahon has already planned out the top 6 matches for WrestleMania 32 and Sting & The Undertaker aren’t scheduled to face each other at the event.
