• The Undertaker Responds To Rumors About Joining WWE’s Creative Team
On his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan revealed that The Undertaker was backstage at WWE Worlds Collide and wants to join the WWE creative team. Here’s what the WCW Veteran said: “Yes, bro was running around (backstage at Worlds Collide). So I think that Undertaker wants to get into creative. He likes it a lot, and he was in creative at Money In The Bank. He was at the other one (Worlds Collide) and he’s very interested in being part of the creative team. I’ve heard some of his ideas, and he’s got a great philosophy when it comes to wrestling.”
Speaking to WrestleSTAR, The Undertaker said he’s interested in contributing to the company’s creative process, but only if it fits his current lifestyle. “I’ve always kind of had an interest,” he explained. “It’s just a matter of making it work with everything else I’ve got going on.”
The Undertaker stressed that the job would require serious time and focus. “The ask is pretty big, you’ve got to be fully committed. You’ve got to be in all the creative meetings and everything that comes with it,” he said. “But if we can figure out a way to make that happen, especially with me being based in Texas, I’d definitely consider it. If there’s something I can do to improve the product or help the talent, I’m on board.”
While The Undertaker’s future might lie backstage, Michelle McCool could be heading back into the spotlight. Also speaking with WrestleSTAR, she addressed speculation about a return at the upcoming WWE Evolution premium-live-event.
“If they ask, I’ll be there,” she said. “Honestly, I’d love a LayCool reunion. I think Layla’s finally getting back in the mix. I’m always down to fight, I’m always ready. I haven’t been contacted yet, but I’d love to do whatever they need.”

• Update On The Possibility Of A Cody Rhodes Heel Turn
Ahead of WrestleMania 41, Cody Rhodes received noticeable boos during his segments with John Cena. The reaction led to some speculation about a possible heel turn, especially with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson reportedly backing the idea. However, according to the Wrestling Observer, WWE hasn’t made any changes to Rhodes’ creative plans. In fact, the idea of turning him heel was discussed months ago and met with strong opposition internally. Some even labeled it “the worst idea possible.”
The company has several reasons for holding off. Rhodes has remained a reliable draw, with consistent merchandise sales and solid ticket revenue, reinforcing WWE’s confidence in keeping him as a babyface.
He’s currently set to face Jey Uso in a King of the Ring semi-final match on RAW. If he advances, he’ll meet either Randy Orton in the Final at Night of Champions 2025 next Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
• Katie Forbes Reveals Unexpected Twist in Pregnancy With Rob Van Dam
Rob Van Dam and Katie Forbes are in for a big year — and now, it’s twice as exciting. On a new episode of their 1 Of A Kind podcast, the couple shared that they’re not just expecting one baby, but twins. The announcement comes shortly after revealing Forbes’ pregnancy. During the episode, Katie said an ultrasound confirmed the news and joked they’re having “two of a kind” Van Dam babies. She also gave a positive update on their health, saying both heartbeats were strong. “I feel like the happiest woman in the world,” Forbes said.
• WWE Made Sure MJF Wasn’t Shown During This Week’s RAW
WWE fans tuning into Monday Night RAW this week might have noticed something missing from the Happy Gilmore 2 promotion: MJF. Despite playing one of Happy Gilmore’s sons and making a memorable appearance in the film’s trailer — including a scene where he delivers an elbow drop onto a car — MJF was nowhere to be seen in the version of the trailer shown during RAW. The movie, set to hit Netflix later this summer, includes both MJF and WWE’s Becky Lynch in supporting roles.
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE took steps to make sure MJF wasn’t included in the trailer aired during RAW. They noted that WWE specifically requested a version of the trailer without MJF ahead of the June 16 broadcast. Though no official reason was given, it’s clear WWE didn’t want to give screen time to the AEW star — even in a non-wrestling context.
While Becky Lynch’s role was left untouched, WWE’s decision suggests they’re still cautious about featuring talent from rival promotions during their programming, even when it comes to mainstream crossover projects.
• Original Plan For Mercedes Mone’s First Loss In AEW
Mercedes Moné has been AEW’s most protected star since signing with the promotion, staying undefeated in singles matches. She recently captured the CMLL World Women’s Championship on this week’s Dynamite and is now set to face Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In: Texas. However, according to the Wrestling Observer, AEW once had plans for Moné to lose a match this year. The idea was for her to face ROH Women’s World Champion Athena in the Owen Hart Cup Tournament and lose, setting up a rematch at All In.
Along with a rematch between Mercedes and Athena at All In, AEW also considered booking Toni Storm vs. Mariah May. But when May made it clear she wasn’t renewing her contract—and eventually left for WWE—the company changed direction.
AEW then decided to focus on promoting what they considered the biggest women’s match in company history: Mercedes Moné vs. Toni Storm. With that shift, there was no longer a reason for Moné to lose to Athena in the tournament.
• Big Update On Liv Morgan’s Women’s Tag Team Title Reign
On this week’s RAW, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan got injured during her match against Kairi Sane. Michael Cole announced that Liv suffered a dislocated shoulder. Bodyslam reported that Liv needs surgery and will be out of action for 6 months. This means she’ll miss the rest of 2025. In an update from PWInsider, WWE sources have confirmed that Morgan has been taken off the road and won’t be appearing on TV for the foreseeable future. However, plans for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles are already in place, and as of this morning, the titles are NOT expected to be vacated.
WrestleVotes previously reported that the entire match-card for Evolution 2 has been affected due to Morgan’s injury: “The injury has now caused a lot of the Evolution card to basically be scrapped, be ripped up, and start again from scratch because she was pegged for a big-time tag team match that is not going to happen now. That spot is gonna be filled by someone else and there’s a lot of ripple effects.”
The original plan for Evolution was Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella). Liv was also involved in a program with Roxanne Perez and Women’s World Champion IYO SKY.
