• John Cena Reveals Which Former TNA World Heavyweight Champion He Wants To Face

During a recent Q&A session at the MegaCon Convention, 16 time WWE World Heavyweight John Cena talked about NXT wrestlers inspiring him, former TNA World Heavyweight Champion being on top of the list of wrestlers that he wants to face and more.

Below are the highlights:

On NXT wrestlers inspiring him:

“I have been around the superstars of Raw and SmackDown for a long time. I recently visited the Performance Center and spoke with the NXT Superstars for around six hours answering questions in a forum such as this. I was so inspired by how hard they work and how hungry they are that it made me want to perform with them, so I hope to one day perform on an NXT show.”

On former TNA World Heavyweight Champion being on top of the list of wrestlers that he wants to face:

“That list is quite long, but there is a fellow who just arrived and his name is EC3. I put him at the top of the list because he has been involved with WWE before, and he is now back, reinvigorated, revitalized, in good shape and is feeling confident about himself. He made one mistake, he said that he is going to finish me and take me out of WWE. There has been so many people to say that, so I would like to have a match with EC3 just to let him know that no matter how good he thinks he is going to do and how hard he tries, he is not on the same planetary scale as me.”

On if he would prefer facing The Velveteen Dream, Ricochet or Adam Cole:

“My answer is going to upset some people but I would rather face Velveteen Dream. You know in those Star Wars movies with the Jedi and he says something like, ‘I think that is the One.’ I got that odd, mental and great feeling about Velveteen Dream.”

• The Undertaker Wrestling His 17th SummerSlam Match This Year? Update On His Opponent

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, The Undertaker is set to return for a match at SummerSlam 2018 and it will be a WrestleMania 34 rematch between Taker & John Cena.

As seen at WrestleMania 34, Cena managed to bring The Undertaker out of retirement, but Taker made quick work of Cena and defeated him in under 3 minutes.

Prior to SummerSlam 2018, The Undertaker will work a WWE Live Event in Madison Square Garden next month (opponent hasn’t been announced yet).

If The Undertaker wrestles at SummerSlam 2018, then it will be his 17th SummerSlam match. Undertaker’s last match at SummerSlam was back in 2015, where he defeated Brock Lesnar in their highly anticipated WrestleMania 30 rematch.
