Before Seth Rollins got injured, there were plans for Kevin Owens to defend his Intercontinental Title at Survivor Series 2015 against Dean Ambrose.
However, with the WWE World Title being vacated, both Superstars were put in the WWE World Title Tournament and both of them proceeded to the next round.
Below is what the bracket currently looks like and there’s a possibility that Ambrose & Owens collide in the Tournament (but not for the Intercontinental Title):
