• There Was A Bet Backstage In WWE During R-Truth – Brock Lesnar Segment On RAW
Prior to this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view, WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and then 24/7 Champion R-Truth had a hilarious segment on RAW.
Truth thought Paul Heyman was in the Men’s Royal Rumble match and declared himself for the match as he claimed Heyman would go flying over the top rope during the match.
However, once Truth realized that Heyman was not in the match, but Brock was, he undeclared himself from the match.
Truth also said that he doesn’t want Lesnar to take them to “Sioux Falls City” (instead of Suplex City). This made Lesnar laugh.
You can watch it below:
During a recent interview on The Mixed Tag Show podcast, R-Truth revealed that there was a bet backstage in WWE during that episode of RAW on if he could make Lesnar laugh with his promo:
“There was a little bet in the back everybody was doing.
It was just like, ‘We got to see if you can make Brock laugh. He’s not gonna laugh. He never laughs. See if you can make him laugh,’ and Paul [Heyman] was like, ‘Bet! I bet you he can do it,’ and then I’m trying not to laugh, because I know Brock’s about to laugh when I say this.
Brock is one of the coolest dudes in the business.”
