On this week’s RAW, World Heavyweight Champion Gunther celebrated his Bash In Berlin victory over Randy Orton.
Sami Zayn interrupted and said many legends won the Intercontinental Championship before winning the World Heavyweight Title, including Gunther himself, and wants a chance to do the same thing.
Sami then challenged The Ring General to a match for the World Title. Gunther said his answer is no and left the ring. Sami said that he has already defeated Gunther and warned him that he is gunning for him and will become World Champion.
WWF Attitude Era Veteran Val Venis tweeted the following about this feud:
