Things To Note From The Post-WrestleMania 33 Episodes of SmackDown Live & 205 Live (Top Star Turning Babyface? Backlash 2017 Main Event, First Feud Plans For Shinsuke Nakamura)

SmackDown Live

WrestleMania 33 season is officially over and so have the post-WrestleMania 33 shows. Quite a few noteworthy things happened on last night’s SmackDown Live and 205 Live and let’s take a look at these moments:

#11 John Cena & Nikki Bella Are Gone

As we noted before, John Cena & Nikki Bella (who got engaged in the ring at WrestleMania 33) were scheduled to take time off from WWE programming after WrestleMania 33 and that’s exactly what happened.

The Miz & Maryse came out on this week’s SmackDown Live, dressed as Cena & Nikki respectively, and mocked the engaged couple and noted that they’re gone.

For those who missed it, Cena is taking time off to film new movies, while Nikki is taking time off due to her neck issues and word is that she’ll be working a part time schedule from now on.

#10 NXT Wrestler Makes 205 Live Debut

NXT wrestler Oney Lorcan made his 205 Live debut last night and faced former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann. Lorcan lost this match.

It should be noted that Lorcan was also used on SmackDown Live a few months back.
