Below are the results from tonight’s SmackDown, which featured Tiffany Stratton winning the WWE Women’s Championship.

– Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes kicked off the first ever 3-hour SmackDown by announcing that he’s not cleared to wrestle due to Kevin Owens. As Rhodes began to address his upcoming Ladder Match against Owens at Royal Rumble 2025, Drew McIntyre’s music interrupted him. McIntyre made his way to the ring, hugged Rhodes (leaving him confused), and stated that he was there to help, not harm, him. He reminded Rhodes of their shared history, warning him that he was on the verge of jeopardizing his entire life’s work. McIntyre referenced Nick Aldis refusing to clear Rhodes to compete, citing his neck injury, and mentioned that with the transfer portal looming, Rhodes needed an ally. Rhodes acknowledged McIntyre’s role in carrying WWE in 2020 and pointed out their similar journeys of leaving WWE and returning as bigger stars. He then cut to the point, offering McIntyre a shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship if that was his intention. McIntyre, however, insisted he wasn’t there for the fans’ approval but genuinely wanted to support Rhodes. Drew offered to watch Cody’s back until he’s cleared. Cody declined and said he doesn’t believe Drew and speculated he just wants the Undisputed WWE Title. Drew said he’s telling the truth and told Cody that he should watch his back. Owens then attacked Cody from behind and the two had to be separated. Also during this segment, Drew took a shot at the past eras of the WWF/E by saying:

“This is the greatest generation in the history of the company, not the 80’s, the new generation, the attitude era ‘brother’. Right now is the best wrestlers we’ve had in-ring.”

– United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura def. Andrade

After the match, LA Knight attacked Nakamura and declared that he wants the United States Title back.

A big change has been made on tonight’s SmackDown – Blue Ring Mat:

– Paul Heyman said we’ll find out who’s the real Tribal Chief on next week’s RAW premiere on Netflix. Heyman said the following about Solo Sikoa claiming to be The Tribal Chief:

“That twisted son of a b*tch didn’t earn the Ula Fala, he stole it from Roman Reigns.”

Sikoa confronts Heyman and said he wants Paul to be the one to hold the Ula Fala during The Tribal Combat against Roman. Solo said if he loses, Paul can put the Ula Fala around Roman’s neck and he will acknowledge Roman as The Tribal Chief.

However, if he wins, Heyman must put the Ula Fala around his neck and Paul must acknowledge him as his new Tribal Chief, and become his Wiseman forever. Heyman was shocked by this added stipulation and left without saying anything.
