• Title Match Took Place After Last Night’s RAW
On last night’s episode of RAW, Liv Morgan cut a promo in the ring and revealed that she went to Becky Lynch’s gym to attack her, but admitted that Becky was one step ahead of her and made a student dress up as her, which resulted in Liv attacking someone else.
Becky came out and said Liv’s luck will run out during their rematch at the WWE Day 1 PPV, while Liv said she will kick off the new year as the champion.
Liv threw a kendo stick at Becky’s feet and said she brought this for her, so she can use it right now. Becky said Liv is lucky she has a private jet to catch right now and left.
After RAW went off the air, Becky defended the RAW Women’s Championship against Liv and Bianca Belair in a Triple Threat Match.
During the ending moments of the match, Morgan went for a pin on Belair, but Lynch kicked Liv in the head, and then put her feet on the ropes for leverage and pinned Bianca to win the match and retain her Title.
Liv & Bianca hit their finishers on Becky after the match to send the fans home happy.
Belair also wrestled on RAW. She defeated Doudrop in the opening match on the show.
