According to the Wrestling Observer, tonight’s episode of Dynamite was heavily rewritten due to Page not being able to appear.
As seen on tonight’s episode, Hangman Page vs. CM Punk for the AEW World Championship was made official for next month’s AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view.
Punk, who did commentary for the Dax Harwood vs. Cash Wheeler match, said the following about his first Title match in All Elite Wrestling:
“Double or Nothing is in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have never been a gambling man but Hangman, listen to me, I will always bet on myself.
Win, lose, or draw, Double or Nothing, you will know that you have been in a fight with CM Punk. And I will continue to fight until the wheels fall off!”
