At Sunday at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV, Sting & Darby Allin will team up with one more man to take on Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki in a Trios Match.

Someone started a rumor that Sting & Darby’s tag team partner will be WCW Legend Goldberg, who is looking to have a retirement match/tour.

During today’s media call, AEW President Tony Khan said he has had conversations with Goldberg about coming over to All Elite Wrestling.

Tony put over Goldberg as a Legend and one of the biggest names in the wrestling business, but said that the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion wouldn’t be an ideal tag team partner for Sting & Darby for this Sunday’s match.

Sting & Darby’s mystery partner will be revealed this Saturday night on the second episode of AEW Collision.

Below is the card for the go-home show for Forbidden Door:

– CM Punk, Ricky Starks & AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR vs. Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & Juice Robinson) and The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn)

– Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Swerve Strickland

– Andrade El Idolo vs. AEW World Trios Champion Brody King

– Nyla Rose vs. NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale in the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

– Sting & Darby Allin’s tag team partner for Forbidden Door will be revealed
