• Tony Khan Reveals If He Wants Sasha Banks In AEW
During the post-AEW Revolution 2023 PPV media scrum last night, Tony Khan was asked about the possibility of Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) appearing in All Elite Wrestling.
Below is what Khan had to say about NJPW’s current Women’s Champion:
“I have a ton of respect for the IWGP Women’s World Champion, she’s a tremendous wrestler.
I wouldn’t want to comment on discussions I’ve had with any wrestler who is a free agent, in particular, a wrestler who is a champion of one of our partners.
A ton of respect for that great wrestler and somebody that any wrestling company would be very fortunate to have wrestling for them.”
Mercedes was rumored to debut on AEW Dynamite on January 11, as Saraya’s mystery tag team partner, but that didn’t happen.
