AEW’s special “Title Tuesday” episode of Dynamite will go head-to-head with WWE NXT tonight.
WWE has made a lot of big moves over the last week to win the ratings war against AEW, which include teasing an appearance from WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker and announcing big names like John Cena, Paul Heyman, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes and Asuka for the show.
The company has also announced that the first 30 minutes of NXT will be commercial free.
AEW did not make any big announcements for the show until Monday night as the company already had a star-studded line-up ready for Dynamite.
AEW President Tony Khan finally made his biggest move just 24 hours before the battle between Dynamite and NXT as he announced that tonight’s Dynamite will have a 30-minute special “Buy In” pre-show on Social Media and the main show on TV will be commercial free for the first 30 minutes.
A fan replied to Khan on Twitter that they won’t be watching Dynamite, to which the AEW President replied (along with posting a GIF of Rodrick Strong saying ‘who gives a f**k?!?):
“Ok, we won’t see you tomorrow night for Title Tuesday #AEWDynamite then!”
Another fan quoted Khan’s tweeted and replied:
“If Sir Vince McMahon said this, there would be many failed AEW fans crying non-stop and furious. 😭😭😭 #Hypocrites”
Khan then replied by taking a shot at McMahon:
“If Sir Vince McMahon said this, it would be the least of his alleged misdeeds.
#AEWTitleTuesday on TBS Tuesday #AEWDynamite Tonight!”
