• Tony Khan’s Announcement From Tonight’s AEW Dynamite
On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that the Owen Hart Cup tournament is returning.
The opening ceremony will take place at Double Or Nothing. Tournament matches will be held in Owen’s home country, including the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV.
The finals will take place in Owen’s hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on July 15th.

This tournament debuted last year in All Elite Wrestling, with Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. winning the Men’s & Women’s tournament respectively.

On this day in 1987, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.
It was broadcasted from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona and included pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments featuring the 1987 WWF Superstars.
