4. Nick Gage Challenges Kenny Omega
Hardcore Indy Wrestling veteran Nick Gage, whom most fans know from the recent season 3 episode of Dark Side of the Ring, appeared as a guest on the Wrestling Delorean podcast, where he actually issued a challenge to current IMPACT Wrestling & AEW World Champion Kenny Omega.
We recently reported that Gage made his debut for Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling and is scheduled to wrestle WWF Legend Chris Jericho in a No-DQ match this week.
Here’s what Gage had to say on the podcast:
“Oh I have no problem facing Kenny Omega, but it would be in a death match. It wouldn’t be a regular match, ya know? He says he is the King of the Death match? Well let’s go with real glass and real barbwire. You know what I mean? Let’s go.
Kenny Omega is a f**kin’ awesome wrestler man. Props to that guy. It’s so insane. He got about 16 belts around his waist right now and neck and shoulders. He is a great wrestler but yeah I’ll take him in a death match, man.
We will surround that f**king ring. Put up 200 light tubes and we will see who the king of the death match is.”
