2. WWE Wrestlers Applying For Gun Licenses After Sonya Deville’s Attempted Kidnapping
As we noted earlier, a man named Phillip A. Thomas II from South Carolina was arrested by Hillsborough County Police for trying to kidnap WWE wrestler Sonya Deville.
Thomas had planned to kill Mandy Rose and take Deville hostage, but fortunately, both of them got away from the house in time.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there have been some wrestlers who applied for new gun licenses this week, due to concern coming out of the incident. There are others who are installing or testing their home security systems.
Speaking of the incident, Thomas has been denied bail by the court.
