• Top AEW Star Is Pi$$ed About His Vacation Being Canceled
In the main event of the AEW All Out 2022 PPV, Jon Moxley lost the AEW World Championship to CM Punk.
However, Punk got injured during this match and is rumored to be suspended right now as well, because of the backstage fight after All Out.
Because of Punk, Kenny Omega & Young Bucks being suspended right now, AEW President Tony Khan couldn’t let Moxley go on his scheduled 6-week vacation after All Out, as All Elite Wrestling couldn’t afford to have another top star be off TV.
Below is what Moxley’s friend and fellow wrestler Robert Anthony said on The Tyrus and Timpf podcast:
“He’s doing good. Man, he was supposed to be on vacation, six weeks, we were going to go fishing. Now he’s back to work, he’s not too happy about it.
He’s pissed off and he’s back at work and he cut a hell of a promo. We’ll see where it goes, you know what I mean? It’s just a lot of negatives in the positives over there.”
On next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, Moxley will face fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Bryan Danielson for the vacant AEW World Championship.
